Celebrating nine years in Basel, SCOPE Art Show returns to its pioneering location in Klybeckquai. A wellspring of cultural development for Basel Stadt, SCOPE is the initiator of extraordinary happenings centered on the New Arts District on the Rhine, including the founding of a world class Art and Culture Hall.

SCOPE Basel will welcome 85 International Exhibitors alongside 10 Breeder Program galleries, and 10 Juxtapoz Presents galleries offering a view of the contemporary art market available nowhere else. Exhibitors hail from four continents and over twenty countries including China, Mexico, Japan, Korea, Brazil, Italy, Iran, Russia, Turkey, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland, Germany, UK, Spain, and Canada.

Long-established as the original incubator for emerging work, SCOPE’s Program celebrates its 15th year of introducing new galleries to the contemporary market - a remarkable opportunity for exposure Galerie Zum Harnisch.

The Gallery’s Director and Swiss Chiefcurator Priska Medam is featuring an international slate of artists at SCOPE: Evelyn Dönicke, Oliver Fauser, Dan Gerbo, Sasa Marjanovic, Marco Pellanda, Milan Tucovic and Bruno Stettler.

The 9th SCOPE Basel invites culture lovers discovering this district, named it one of most vibrant cities for contemporary art in the world. It is an important event for all serious collectors, curators, museum directors and interior designers, providing an intimate look at some of the most important work at the forefront of the international contemporary art movement.

Visitors may reach the fair by a scenic walking route along the Rhine and make a stop at RHY ART FAIR, where Galerie Zum Harnisch is also showcasing current works by Eva-Maria Bättig, Markus Bossert, Gabriela Ehrling, Oliver Fauser, Oliviero Gorza, Meihua, Markus Mesmer, YanYan and a Ferrari Installation by Dan Gerbo. A complimentary shuttle service in-between the SCOPE and Art Basel makes the art events convenient for international collectors.

SCOPE Basel opens to VIPs and Press on Tuesday 2pm-4pm, June 16, with its Platinum First View benefit from 12pm - 2pm; the fair will run June 16-21, 2015.
