These museums will feature exhibitions in the next few years which will include Lumen Winter’s art. The Long Island Museum of American Art, History and Carriages has graciously agreed to act as a central repository for Winter's art, and The Long Island Museum is also planning a major one-man exhibition starting in March 2017 of Winter's watercolors, oils, and drawings called Lumen Martin Winter: An Artist Rediscovered which is also the title of this website. Hofstra University Museum is planning a forthcoming 2016 exhibition with the 'working' title Over the River: Transformative NYC-Long Island Connections that showcases Winter's Verazzano bridge murals studies.
The Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame, 240 Main Street, Goshen. New York, is holding an eye-catching exhibition The Spirit of the Horse from June 1, 2015 to May 31, 2016 showing the fine selected watercolors and drawings of the wild range horse that Winter created mostly in New Mexico.
