About 20th Century by HKFA
20th Century by HKFA is an important selection of well curated 20th century finds... In May of 2012, I opened 20th Century by HKFA after spending the previous ten years working in Manhattan. Being a picker in NYC is easily one of the most exciting and rewarding jobs there could be. Not only did I have the incredible privilege of working with top galleries, designers and shops - but I also lived every minute of it. Up before sunrise picking at the famous Chelsea flea, then uptown on the 6 train with those very same finds being sold to Madison Ave galleries. Back downtown with other finds to offer to SoHo clients and so my days went. That same excitement is here in my shop. New picks arrive fresh to the shop daily and are often sold just as fast with a quick text to a client or a lucky passerby happens in. Hope to see you soon in the shop!
