As with each CRN Auctions, we offer a fine group of fresh objects new to the market.  This sale features English and Continental Furniture; American and European works of art spanning from the 17th to 20th century; European and American silver; Oriental carpets; Japanese items; Chinese 18th and 19th furniture, Chinese Export porcelains, and a private collection of 19th c. Chinese snuff bottles.  Fine accessories from various estates include clocks, art glass, European porcelains; bronzes, and more.

From a prominent Rhode Island family and a Newport mansion comes a group of rare 18th c. Italian furniture, art and accessories. This includes an ivory and exotic wood inlaid corner cabinet, side tables and desks featuring an 18th c. Northern Italian commode and mechanical desk attributed to Giovanni Maglioni, and a scenic and floral micro mosaic inlaid round table top.

The sale may be previewed on Thursday and Friday, May 3 and 4 from 11 alm. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, May 6 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Very limited preview morning of the sale.
