Lambertville, NJ - On Saturday, June 9 Rago Auctions will hold a sale of U.S., world and ancient coins and currency. Included within this 478 lot auction is a wealth of rare and fine coins and notes spanning a broad variety of numismatic specialties and interests, from modern U.S. to the ancient world. Highlights of the sale include Colonial currency; early American coinage; rare world notes and coins; multiple denominations of U.S. coinage designed by Chief Mint Engraver, Charles E. Barber; over 50 Morgan Silver Dollars minted from 1878 to 1904; and many fine examples of gold U.S. coinage.
