Lawrence Fine Art is pleased to announce that it will exhibit at this year's Art Hamptons, running from July 2-5. Please note the new location: One mile east of Nova's Ark at Lumber Road and Scuttlehole Road.
The Gallery will highlight a number of contemporary photographers at the show, including Judy Mauer, Bear Kirkpatrick, Instagram phenom Alex Nero, Barbara Macklowe and Parker Calvert. "We have worked very hard over the past year to augment our stable of art photographers," said Gallery Director Howard Shapiro. "It is a category that is a priority for many of our collectors."
The Gallery will also show work by Joe Novak, whose exhibition "Recent Work" opens at the Gallery on June 27, David Einstein, whose "Raw Gestures" opens at the Gallery in August, work by Athos Zacharias, whose "Taking Chances" opened at the Gallery in May, by pop artist Marjorie Strider and by sculptor Edwina Sandys.
"All of these artists are masters of abstraction, taking it in new directions, sometimes with new media. Edwina's work is a playful commentary on the ever difficult subject of male-female relations," said Shapiro. "These works will work in the kind of bright and airy homes in the Hamptons that so many of our clients own."
This is the 8th edition of Art Hamptons. "Kudos to Rick and crew," said Shapiro. "It just keeps getting better."
