COMPREHENSIVE APPRAISAL STUDIES PROGRAM
Enrollment Open – Summer Intensive 2023
& Online Course - September 2023 through April 2024
New York, NY (February 15, 2023) – Enrollment for the Appraisal Institute of America’s Comprehensive Appraisal Studies Program is open. The 4-week Summer Intensive will be offered in-person for the first time since 2019. The Fall/Spring session will be offered online September 2023 through May of 2024.
The Summer program is a 4-week intensive course that takes place in New York City. All instruction is provided by Certified Members of the Appraisers Association of America and qualified professionals in related fields. The program will begin on July 5. Classes will take place Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Students will have hands-on experience with conservation and restoration concerns, damage and loss scenarios and issues.
The Fall/Spring program is a two-semester prescribed online course with two exciting weekends held in New York City. All instruction is provided by Certified Members of the Appraisers Association of America and qualified professionals in related fields. The program will begin in late September, and end the first week in April. Most classes will take place online 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. EST on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Included in this program are two in-person weekends in New York City.
The Comprehensive Appraisal Studies Program trains students interested in becoming personal property appraisers meeting the qualifications of The Appraisal Foundation. This program has been designed to help meet the growing demand for personal property appraisers in the $67.4 billion global art market. Since the launch of CASP in July of 2016, 255 students have completed the program and gone on to become independent appraisers, join appraisal companies or have started their own companies.
The Appraisal Institute of America is the educational foundation of the Appraisers Association of America. Its mission is to present, advance and promote educational programs and accessibility to information pertaining to appraisals for the general public and for new and established appraisers.
