Headlands Center for the Arts will hold its annual Benefit Art Auction featuring work by over 100 artists at Fort Mason Center in San Francisco on Wednesday, June 3. The Benefit is among the Bay Area’s most anticipated events, providing art-lovers and collectors with the opportunity to view and bid on work by both emerging and leading contemporary artists, approximately a third of whom are Headlands alumni. Proceeds directly support Headlands, its artists and public programs, and its mission to promote awareness of the role of the arts in society. Headlands proudly offers up to 50% commission to participating artists.
The festive event takes place at Fort Mason Center with breathtaking views of San Francisco Bay and includes an evening of cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, entertainment, and live and silent auctions. The auctioneer is James Hendy, chief operating officer at Bonhams in the U.S. Among the 500 guests expected are arts patrons, collectors, business and tech leaders, creative professionals, and artists.
