“I personally hand-selected everything in this auction and I can say with assurance that what we’re selling represents the best of the best,” said Dwight Stevens of Stevens Auction Company, adding, “It’s a well balanced auction, with lots of great items in plenty of categories. Anybody looking for something nice should attend, either in person or online, at LiveAuctioneers.com.”

The names of renowned 19th century furniture makers will be chanted throughout the auction, beginning with a three-piece Mitchell & Rammelsberg walnut bedroom suite with a rare queen-size circassian walnut three-quarter tester plantation bed in mint condition, a walnut dresser with detailed pineapple carving and marble top, and a wardrobe with original finials (all circa 1859).
