Romanee Conti 2014, Chateau Petrus 2000 among vintages that could fetch more than $400,000 at Heritage Auctions
A pair of prestigious private collections will be among the top draws in Heritage Auctions’ Fine & Rare Wine Auction Sept. 11.
The Orbit Collection is an important collection from a storied New York hotel restaurant, with an assortment of vintages that could bring more than $400,000. The Orbit Collection will be among Heritage Auctions’ first Platinum Session, with bidding opening Aug. 21.
“This exceptional collection comes from an elite restaurant with an elite wine list, and it makes a great way to launch our first Platinum Session in wine, featuring the crème de la crème of what we have in the sale,” Heritage Auctions Fine & Rare Wine Senior Director Frank Martell said. “This is an exceptionally important group of high-level wines being sold in this collection. Heritage Auctions has friends at some great restaurants, and this sale offers a chance to come get some exceptional wines from some elite sommeliers.”
