About the Artist
French artist BAUDRIER explores forms of expressions in his simple yet compelling work, which is heavily influenced by a love of thriller film and television, and photography. He uses images from different movies to create his own scenes, often depicted as closed spaces using dark, limited colors. Giving little away, he invites the viewer to create their own backstory.
BAUDRIER works as a bus driver in the beautiful town of Chambéry in the French Alps. He is entirely self-taught, painting only in his spare time, and hopes to one day work as a professional artist.
