Mystery as Muse

Agora Gallery invites you to explore the mysteries of the human condition in Mystery as Muse, a new group exhibition featuring a mix of painting and sculpture from 14 international artists. Encompassing a wide variety of 2D and 3D work, the show highlights the gap between reality and the subconscious as these artists reveal the hidden depths of their imagination. From large gestural paintings to fantasy-filled scenes, the worlds and ideas on display refuse to adhere to reason and logic. Often grappling with complex issues of identity and purpose, these artists find inspiration beyond the physical world as they attempt to explore the unknown. The work captures their endless search for meaning and wonder amid a sea of confusion, contradiction and mystery.
Mystery as Muse will open on Saturday, October 13th with an opening reception on Thursday, October 18th, 2018 from 6 to 8 pm. The exhibition will remain on view until Friday, November 2nd, 2018. All are welcome to attend. Entrance to the gallery is free.
