Alex Cooper Auctioneers, one of the largest auction houses in the mid-Atlantic, will host a public auction on Saturday, June 6 at its gallery in Towson, Md. During the auction, the public will have the opportunity to bid on fine-quality items from different countries and time periods, including: unique oriental rugs, coins, weapons, trains and toys.
Below is a sampling of items that will be available for auction:
- Antique Kazak rug, approx. 4 x 6.6
- Antique Chinese scatter rug, approx. 2.1 x 3.8
- U.S. Military bayonet
- Smith & Wesson model 80G air gun
- Belgium Gold 20 Francs, 1877
- 12 U.S. Mint Sets, 1970-86
- Early cast-iron engine, tender, and two cars
Buyers are invited to visit the gallery and preview items before the auction during an exhibition on Friday, June 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
