Decorative Delights at UK's Chester Antiques Fair
Stylish antiques, superb paintings and all kinds of rare and unusual antique Art Deco and contemporary treasures go on sale at The Chester Antiques Fair in the Grandstand, Chester Racecourse, 8th – 11th February 2018.
From lush Edwardian sofas to exquisite Georgian furniture, silver and china for the dining room to smart 20th century sculptures and paintings, the Chester Antiques Fair offers plenty of choice for both the seasoned collector and first-time visitor. The fair covers every kind of object for the home from the past 300 years.
In addition, there is a range of pieces for the most memorable Valentine’s Day gift including gem-set designer jewellery, watches, vintage cocktail and evening dresses, mid-20th century costume jewellery and personal accessories.
Forty specialist dealers take part, taking over the three floors of the Racecourse Grandstand, several transforming the top floor boxes into room set displays. Many are members of the LAPADA and BADA, the leading trade associations. With everything for sale, prices run from £20 up to £25,000. All exhibits are labelled with the price, date and description - all of which are carefully checked by the Vetting Committees for quality and authenticity.
The Chester Antique Fair has been running since 1989 and is a major fixture in the social calendar in the Northwest. Visitors come from across the region and far beyond, many enjoying a visit this historic city and its many attractions.
