Philadelphia Antiques Show exhibitors are leaking a few of their booth highlights for the much-anticipated show which opens Friday night with a preview gala.
New exhibitor Avery Galleries is bringing a large Emil Carlsen still-life painting and two Winslow Homer watercolors, valued between $50,000 to more than $1 million.
Diana Bittel will have an 1830 cutout painting of the U.S.S. Constitution, an extremely rare painting that has never been out of its frame and is new to the market.
She will also show a "pearly" cedar Bermuda chest from 1760 with curved cabriole legs and a tiger maple chest from the 1780s.
The show runs April 17 to 20.
