"The Art of Collecting" goes inside private collectors' homes

“The Art of Collecting: An Intimate Tour Inside Private Art Collections, with Advice on Starting Your Own” (Antique Collector's Club) is a new coffee-table book by Boston-area art dealer Diane McManus Jensen with a foreword by Wendell Garrett. Included are fifteen collecting-specific essays written by experts in the field, with subjects such as framing, insurance, and legal issues.
The heart of this lavishly-illustrated book provides an insider's look at the homes of 23 collectors, including Alan Dershowitz, William Koch, and David Rockefeller, who are also interviewed by Jensen about their collecting habits.
