Andy Warhol's first New York City studio, the former firehouse Hook & Ladder 13, has hit the market. The list price is $9.975 million for the nearly 5,000-square-foot red structure.

The Realtor.com listing:

Cushman & Wakefield Inc. has been retained on an exclusive basis to offer for sale 159 East 87th Street, a boutique development site located between Lexington and Third Avenue. The existing structure is an approximately 4,998 SF two story commercial building with a curb cut that is currently being used for art storage. Situated in the Carnegie Hill neighborhood of the Upper East Side, the site is within two blocks of the highly trafficked 86th Street Subway Station and in close proximity to revered NYC institutions such as the Guggenheim Museum and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
