HOPE DESIGNER SHOWCASE RETURNS TO THE PALM BEACH JEWELRY, ART & ANTIQUE SHOW
Hope For Depression Research Foundation (HDRF), charity partner of the Palm Beach Jewelry, Art & Antique Show, will present an enhanced Hope Designer Showcase at the entrance to the Show
(Palm Beach, FL – January 30, 2013) When Scott Diament, President of the Palm Beach Jewelry, Art & Antique Show – already the largest and most successful vetted antique show in the U.S. – wanted to enhance the Show with a meaningful charity element, he turned to Audrey Gruss, Chairman and Founder of Hope For Depression Research Foundation (HDRF) and invited them to be a charity partner.
Aware that HDRF’s research showed that those who operate in the creative community have a significantly higher incidence of depression, Gruss was moved to be involved with a show that is founded on the arts and creativity. She welcomed the opportunity to bring awareness to this world-wide health issue, and a solid partnership was formed.
Six of the leading U.S. interior designers, accompanied by two illustrious event designers, have come together to create the Hope Designer Showcase – a visually stimulating group of room settings featured at the entrance to the Palm Beach Jewelry, Art & Antique Show. Scott Snyder, Palm Beach Chair of the Hope Designer Showcase and the other designers carefully selected art and antiques from the 180 international exhibitors of the show – from a vast range of antiquities to the mid-twentieth century modern. Each designer’s goal: to create individual room settings that will show guests how the products of creativity can enhance their environment and their life.
Now celebrating its third year in conjunction with the Palm Beach Jewelry, Art & Antique Show, HDRF has created the Hope Designer Showcase as a platform to raise awareness of depression and its related mood disorders. The Designer Showcase will be previewed at the Opening Night Preview Party at the Palm Beach Jewelry, Art & Antique Show with all designers present to interact with guests. The showcase will remain open throughout all general show days.
2014 Hope Designer Showcase Designers:
