THE GALLERY AT 200 LEX ANNOUNCES “BEHIND THE SHADOWS” BY GREG LOTUS AS UPCOMING EXHIBITION

NEW YORK, NY (January 23, 2019) – The Gallery at 200 Lex Powered by InCollect is pleased to announce its latest exhibition featuring works from famed art and fashion photographer, Greg Lotus, and curated by Guy Regal. The Gallery at 200 Lex, which is located in the New York Design Center, houses 33,000 square feet of antiques and 20th century design from 50 leading dealers, complete with a gallery space which will be home to “Behind the Shadows” by Greg Lotus from Wednesday, January 23rd through Friday, March 8th.
Photographer Greg Lotus’ work can be found in the pages of Italian Vogue, Vanity Fair, GQ, L’Uomo Vogue and W magazine and advertising campaigns for brands such as Escada, L’Oreal, Swarovski and Cartier. In addition, his celebrity portfolio includes work with Penelope Cruz, Katy Perry, Megan Fox, Eva Longoria, Liam Hemsworth, Rose Byrne and more.
The show, “Behind the Shadows,” spans 15 years of Lotus’ photography work both in art and fashion and draws inspiration from classical paintings and a wide array of sources and life experience. Lotus uses angles and composition to play with light, creating unique shadows throughout the works and blending high fashion with his recurring motif of nature.
