Dreaming of a future visit to the City of Light? A new 5-star hotel some eight years in the making is poised to open in the historic Louvre post office building later this month.

Well-positioned in Paris' 1st arrondissement—a right bank hub of cafes, luxury shopping and world-class museums—Madame Rêve Hotel offers 82 design-focused rooms, including 19 suites with vertical sky garden or cityscape views. Some suites overlook iconic sites such as the Eiffel Tower or Notre-Dame, while guests can also take in the full Parisian skyline from a green rooftop terrace with a bar and other gathering spaces.

With its longstanding ties to the Louvre, the hotel is developing plans for exclusive museum experiences.

Rooms at Hôtel Madame Rêve start at $590 per night and can be booked on its website.
