AmericanaWeek.com, the only website to coordinate all the antiques shows, auctions and museum exhibitions of New York's Americana Week, is already a success, says Eric Miller, co-founder along with Regina Kolbe, of the site.

"We have received wonderful emails from collectors telling us that the site is something they have been hoping for. It has never been so easy for people planning their Americana Week visit to get all the info they need. AmericanaWeek.com lists everything in one, easy-to-use website," Eric Miller states.

AmericanaWeek.com is ranked at the top of Google, Bing, and Yahoo search pages. Site traffic is predominately located in New York, Pennsylvania and the New England states. "Most site visitors are within driving distance, and that should be good news for advertisers and dealers," Miller says.

Among the site's museum partners are the American Folk Art Museum, Brooklyn Museum and the Hudson River Museum. Inaugural year antiques show sponsors include Stella Show Management Company, which produces both Antiques at the Armory and Americana and Antiques @ the Pier, and the Caskey-Lees New York Ceramics Fair, at Bohemian National Hall.

Dealer sponsors include H.L. Chalfant, of West Chester, PA, Dalton's American Decorative Arts, Finish Line Antiques, Just Folk and South Road Antiques.

"We are especially proud of our association with the online vintage and modern retailer, V&M.com," Miller adds.

The "magic of the site," Regina Kolbe explains, "is that visitors can plan their entire week around the information we present." The alternative is to access a dozen print publications or individual websites.

"When it comes to dealers," Ms. Kolbe continues, "we were quite surprised to discover that many who do shows don't necessarily have websites. Between our efforts and the show promoters campaigns, they now have value added visibility."

With a content component that introduces aspects of Americana to new collectors and a hotel discount component, AmericanaWeek.com further provides travel tips. This is where viewers will find out about free shuttle buses, their schedules and stops. The Events page provides a calendar of gallery talks, seminars, and auctions.

When Americana Week kicks off on January 17, reporting from the shows and auctions will provide and even more comprehensive picture of the week's highlights.
