The Curator’s Eye (http://www.CuratorsEye.com/), the global high-end art marketing organization, highlights the success of Jill Fenichell in its New York gallery management division. In her role as Vice President, Ms. Fenichell is responsible for sales, marketing, and dealer and gallery relations in the greater New York area.
Ms. Fenichell serves as a liaison between the dealer community and the corporate management of The Curator’s Eye. With her background as a leading ceramics dealer, she is uniquely prepared to present The Curator’s Eye to dealers in familiar terms. Ms. Fenichell understands that “dealers are unique business entities,” and seeks to build on her success helping dealers expand their online presence and sell items to newly acquired customers. She has already brought aboard notable member dealers such as Clinton Howell, who is President of AADLA, Alexander Galleries, James Robinson, Schiller and Bodo, and Betty Krulik.
Ms. Fenichell graduated from Oberlin College and New York University before working at Christie’s and as a freelance writer. Her extensive experience at all corners of the art and design world stretches to appraiser, lecturer, and custom tableware designer. Of Ms. Fenichell, The Curator’s Eye founder and CEO Sarah Hollenbeck Valelly says, “Jill’s combination of communication skills and dealer experience positions her perfectly to expand The Curator’s Eye. As we seek to increase worldwide awareness of our member dealers online, Jill excels at raising the profile of the company and aiding dealers to maximize the services they receive from us.”
The Curator’s Eye offers personalized services for dealers to find a larger international audience, and is represented in the New York area by Jill Fenichell and Seol Park. The site presents connoisseurs with a highly selective array of art, antiques and historic objects from the most distinguished dealers and galleries around the globe. The elegant interface and appearance of The Curator’s Eye appeals to the high-end retail customer – someone any dealer would be glad to see in their booth at a show – without the dealer having to load up the truck; set up the booth; or wait for customers to arrive. Today, collectors from Monaco, India, Italy, and Russia are among the registered visitors from over eighty countries.
