NEW EXHIBTION OF SMALL WORKS BY LOCAL SAN DIEGO ARTISTS AT SPARKS GALLERY
San Diego, CA - May 17, 2017 - The Sparks Gallery (530 6th Ave, San Diego, CA 92101) is pleased to announce a new exhibition “minis / A Group Show”, opening June 17, 2017.
An exhibition of “minis” will be presented in sizes 10×10 inches or smaller in our new group show. All works priced at $200 and under. Though vastly different in style and medium, the group exhibition will showcase about 40 pieces from a diverse group of artists from Southern California.
Artists in this exhibition include: Alexander Arshansky, Eric Wixon, Gloria Muriel, Jon Barnes, Lee Sie, Mayra Navarro, Michelle Ferrera, Monty Montgomery, Paul Hobson, Peter J Geise, and Victor Angelo
"This is a great opportunity to purchase a small piece from one of your favorite local artists, priced $200 and under," notes gallery owner Sonya Sparks. "We will have a wide variety of styles, techniques, and color palettes on view, all in 'mini' scale."
Exhibition Dates: June 17, 2017 - September 24, 2017

All proceeds from wine sales during the opening reception will benefit Young Audiences of San Diego (http://www.artsforlearningsd.org).

About the Gallery:
Located in the Gaslamp Quarter of downtown San Diego, the Sparks Gallery (Est 2013) is housed in the historic Sterling Hardware Building between Island and Market on Sixth Avenue. Sparks Gallery represents contemporary artwork by artists living in San Diego and Southern CA.
The Gallery was awarded the 2015 People in Preservation Award for Adaptive Reuse by Save Our Heritage Organization (SOHO)
