The Hoffman collection, of almost 200 lots with estimates ranging from $200/$300 to $3,000/$5,000, reflects the actor’s broad interests and eclectic taste. The offerings include such Folk Art item as copper cowboy boot molds, cobbler’s shoe molds fitted as bookends and ceramic glove molds. He is also selling a George III leather-upholstered easy chair, and mid-18th century Irish mahogany pier table, a Regency étagère, an oversized gate-leg table and a pair of Chinese pier tables with other examples of Asian furniture. He is selling an NBA-Jam arcade game, pool table accoutrements, and two Kni-Tron Projector Unit, Kni-Tron Rectifier, a Lens, Autograph Projector Reel, dated 9-18-13. Those interested in creating an in-home theatre may be interested in the two Louis XV Style leather-upholstered multiple chair-back settees. Almost 1,000 lots come from all over the tri-state area and New York City, representing numerous private collections and families.   A woman living on an impressive 200-acre estate in Bernardsville, New Jersey is selling about twenty-five lots of impressive jewelry. There are two Tiffany and Company “Atlas” 18K gold bracelets, a Tiffany and Company 18K gold sapphire band ring, an unmarked platinum, diamond and ruby necklace, an unmarked  gold and emerald suite comprising a necklace, ring, pin and earrings. Numerous other pieces accompany these fine items.

An Essex County estate being disbursed for the executors includes provincial French furniture, Continental landscapes and numerous American Folk Art portraits. Examples include multiple children seated together several pairs of spouses. Alas, this collection was stored for over fifty years in an unheated store-front, so the condition on some items is lacking. The dolls, however, include examples by Madame Alexander, Steiner, Kestner and A&M. There are boxes and boxes of heads, limbs, eyes, parts and clothes. The store was vacant for so long, digging through the unlit, unheated space was an exciting treasure hunt.   Another estate, this one from Bergen County, is primarily of German origin. The family collected Nymphenburg plates and figural ceramics, Meissen, Rosenthal and Delft. Additionally, there are Austrian mid-century case furniture. And of note is the 16th century Flemish wall-size tapestry and numerous paintings.
