New Antiques Show to Pop Up in The Berkshires

Barn Star Productions and Frank Gaglio have announced a new one-day show, The Berkshire Antiques, Vintage and Art Fair, which will take place on Saturday, June 16, from 10AM to 4PM at the Berkshire Farm Center and Services for Youth, in Canaan, New York.
Comments fair manager Gaglio, “The popularity, fast pace and fresh merchandise at many one-day shows has prompted us to fulfill the request of dozens of dealers to create a one-day, low cost, highly advertised event in a location that is convenient, accessible and collector rich. The Berkshire Farm Center facility fills all those requirements for exhibitors plus has a one level show floor, numerous load
indoors, air-conditioning and convenient parking. Come join us for what promises to be a wonderful show.”
Additionally, the nearby town of New Lebanon, NY, is celebrating its bicentennial this year, and the event's steering committee is interested in using this milestone as a method of stimulating economic development while supporting local businesses and organizations in the area.
The Berkshire Antiques, Vintage and Art Fair will be participating in the NL 200 Passport promotion which is a free document that includes advertisements from local businesses. Holders of the Passport must visit at least 12 of the 24 town destinations included in the document to be eligible to participate in a raffle that will take place Aug. 19 at the New Lebanon Community Picnic.
"Passports can be obtained at the Town Hall, the town library, the post office and at several of the participating businesses and organizations and jis ust another part of our promotion for the show!" says Gaglio.
Canaan, NY is located south of Albany, west of Great Barrington and close to Hudson NY and the numerous antiques shops and auctions galleries that make this area fertile ground for a new show. Simply take Exit B2 New Lebanon / Route 22, off the NYS Thruway Extension and follow Rt. 22 North to the show.
The show will present a mix of objects from country Americana, garden decor, textiles, vintage goods, fine and folk art, ephemera, early ceramics, mid-century and much more.
