Work by Asawa, Picasso, Lewitt, Comes to the Block on November 16 at Rago in A Gem Set Sale Featuring the Vermillion Editions Limited Collection

Lambertville, NJ: On Saturday, November 16, 2013, Rago will hold sales of 19th/20th Century American and European Art and Post-War/Contemporary Art, featuring the personal collection of master printer Steve Andersen, founder of Vermillion Editions Limited. Both auctions are full of work that is fresh, desirable and often difficult to find.

“I am exceptionally pleased with both these sales, and particularly proud that Steve Andersen chose Rago as the agent for his property, says Meredith Hilferty, Director of Fine Art. “Artists from Arakawa to Warhol were eager for Andersen's expertise and his willingness to translate unconventional ideas into print. The work he retained from his years in New York and Minneapolis, originals and editions, is much of the best of his years of extraordinary collaborations."
