The Anita Shapolsky Gallery and the A.S. Art Foundation will present an important historical and educational exhibition of quality artists who exhibited with Martha Jackson and Anita Shapolsky Gallery over the years.  This is the second tribute to the “muse” of Anita Shapolsky. Martha Jackson’s importance is of an art historical nature and Anita Shapolsky’s is of critical evaluation.

This exhibition celebrates the unique diversity of art expressionism since the 1950’s which, not surprisingly, is evidenced very often in the contemporary art world with new forms and new media, happenings and events. Martha Jackson was doing this in 1960.

Concurrent with this exhibition is “Abstract Expressionism” at the MoMA.

Catalog available - $10.
