drkrm is proud to announce a newly formed partnership with Freestyle Photographic Supplies to present monthly photography workshops focusing on traditional film processes, historic processes and merging digital processes with traditional analog techniques.
The first workshop, Argyrotype Over Metal Leaf with Eric Joseph, is scheduled for Saturday, August 25th at drkrm. In this hands-on, instructional workshop, participants will learn the technique of creating unique photographs combining the best aspects of digital technology, a historical photographic process and traditional fine art materials.
A second workshop is planned for Sunday, August 26th entitled The World of Inkjet Paper and The Convergence of Digital and Darkroom with Eric Joseph and will also be held at drkrm. Participants will gain a keen insight to the technical aspects, mysteries and myths of inkjet paper as well as be able to view, touch and feel an incredible variety of inkjet media currently available on the market.
