NEW YORK CITY.  Visitors to New York's Spring Asia Week celebration now have a one-stop source to the auctions, dealers and event. It’s AsiaWeekGuide.com, an independent and inclusionary site designed to serve buyers.

The site is loaded with practical information – such as where the group shows are located, who has moved since the 2012 event, who’s new and who is not going to be in New York this year.

According to publisher Regina Kolbe, the site focuses on independent and small auction galleries. “Our best count indicates at least 90 dealers showing in various locations around the city.” For instance, this year's event includes an exhibition by Kevin Bruneau of Bruneau Antiques, known to many from the PBS series Maket Warriors. The exhibiton previews Mr. Bruneau's eBay auction.

With the suspension of the Arts of Pacific Asia fair, many of the international dealers have migrated to small venues. Others have joined the Asia Week New York campaign. And still others will be exhibiting for two days only at the Pier Show. For buyers, the most important thing is knowing what their options are and where to find dealers of all levels.

As Ms. Kolbe explains, an a single day, an Asian art collector is offered as many as 50 dealer exhibits on the Upper East Side, and that’s just a prelude to the exhibitors in mid-town. There are also shopping opportunities from Second Avenue to the Piers. When the competing auctions are added to the mix, “it’s almost impossible to manage one’s time or plan one’s day. That’s why AsiaWeekGuide.com is so helpful. It supplements and aggregates information from many sources.”
