Lawrence Fine Art to Present at Boston International Fine Arts Fair

Lawrence Fine Art is pleased to be presenting at the 21st annual Boston International Fine Arts Show, October 19-22. This is the gallery's sixth appearance at the art fair.

The gallery will present both contemporary and modern work, including work by Amaranth EhrenhaltMargery RyersonPaul Resika, Monhegan  painter Morris Shulman and sculpture and works on paper by noted American sculptor David Hayes.

"We look forward to showing some excellent never-before-seen works and to reintroduce some artists to the collecting public," said Gallery Director Howard Shapiro.  "BIFAS is a great regional fair that allows us to be a bit eclectic."

The gallery will show a series of portraits of children by Margery Ryerson from around 1920 and strikingly reminiscent of her teacher Robert Henri; c. 1950s abstractions by Amaranth Ehrenhalt; landscape abstractions by Shulman who painted on Monhegan for much of his career; contemporary Provincetown works by Paul Resika; and works on paper and sculpture by American sculptor David Hayes.
