Boston, MA --- The only show of its kind in New England, the second annual Boston Home Decor Show, November 17-20, will once again feature an array of fine art galleries, antiques, Mid-Century Modern to contemporary furnishings and interior design resources.

Launched to critical acclaim in 2015, the Boston Home Decor Show is open to both retail and wholesale design businesses, individual artists and galleries and bespoke artisans from Boston and beyond. The show offers both interior designers and consumers new resources, inspiration and access to home design and home décor experts through a number of special events and guest appearances.  Details at www.BostonHomeDecorShow.com

The Cyclorama, with its circular domed main room and skylight provides a perfect venue for shoppers to wander and linger.

Supported by an impressive Host Committee of sponsors and patrons drawn from Boston's vibrant design community, the four-day show and sale kicks off with a Gala Preview on Thursday, November 17 with 100% of the ticket proceeds benefitting DIFFA: Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS and a local Boston AIDS service organization: Community Research Initiative of New England (CRI).  For Gala tickets visit bostonhomedecorshow.splashthat.com

Dakota Jackson, a leading figure in American furniture design, will be a Special Guest at the Gala Preview, and will host a Designer Luncheon and offer the Keynote presentation on Friday at the show.  His appearances in Boston will come on the heels of the release of his “Symphony Collection”, an impeccably engineered and crafted furniture group inspired by a selection of musical style and references. The collection will be featured at the Boston Home Décor Show, courtesy of the M-Geough, the showroom at Boston Design Center that represents Mr. Jackson’s work in New England.

Other special guests include British-born, preeminent interior designer Kathryn M. Ireland, known for her furnishings, textiles and her legendary “sympathetic restorations” of landmark architectural houses and hotels to extraordinary homes for the Hollywood elite.  The author of five best-selling books on design, her appearance is sponsored by Charles Spada Antiques and Interiors of Boston.

Kathryn M. Ireland, textile and furnishings designer, is one of several special guest speakers at the 4-day show.

Also on Saturday, Cutting Edge Homes headed by Sean Cutting, President, presents a panel, “Keeping it Real: Interior Design, Home Remodeling, and the Real Estate Market” for a closer look at how can interior designers, design/build firms and real estate agents work together to assist the sale of residential properties. Panelists will provide valuable insider information while also forging a new understanding of the importance of design industry collaboration with real estate professionals.

Sunday, Ashley Rooney, author of Condo Makeovers: Inventive Ideas for Vertical Living, moderates a panel to discover how to design, construct, and accessorize challenging spaces. Rooney is joined by book contributors Julie Lineberger, Owner of LineSync Architecture, a green and sustainable firm in southern Vermont; Joseph Cincotta, Principle Architect of LineSync Architecture; and Charlene Keogh, principle of Keogh Design, a residential and commercial interior design firm.

Trefler’s of Newton, the oldest comprehensive restoration company in the U.S., now celebrating their 95th anniversary , will offer complimentary restoration estimates throughout the weekend. Visitors are encouraged to bring photographs of favorite furnishings, fine art, and decorative objects for a sneak peek into the renewal process.
