Following the success of last year's event, more than 100 artists, designers, and creatives participated in the 2018 edition of "Color My World." Launched by designer Doug Meyer, the unique fundraiser provides a 12X18' line drawing template where participants add their original spin with any medium—watercolor, paint, market, collage, etc. Each piece is available for $200 online. Enhancing the sense of discovery and mystery, the name of the creator of a particular version will not be revealed until it is purchased — and then only to the buyer.

For this year’s iteration, Color My World has teamed up with 1stdibs to host the digital storefront, which has gone live today: www.1stdibs.com/colormyworld. The online store is active through May 31, and 100% of the proceeds benefit ACRIA, Artists Ending AIDS Fund, a leading voice in the fight against AIDS.

The works are currently on exhibition at Dragonette in Los Angeles, in conjunction with Legends of La Cienega.

A few notable artists include: Natasha Baradaran; Sasha Bikoff; Alessandra Branca; Kelly Behun; Sophia Bush; Barclay Butera; Ernest de la Torre; Amy Fine Collins; Cliff Fong; Brad Ford; Jane Hallworth; Molly Luetkemeyer; Cristina Lei Rodriguez; Drew McGukin; Patrick Mele; Suchi Reddy; David Rockwell; Mat Sanders; Peter Som; Sara Story; Nathan Turner; and Vicente Wolf.

About 1stdibs

At 1stdibs, we're here to connect the world's best dealers, finest shops and most important galleries with individuals like you: the world's most sophisticated collectors, designers and curators. Starting with the few dealers that were hand-selected by our founder Michael Bruno at Paris's legendary antiques market, Marché Aux Puces, in 2001, we've become the global destination for those who must have 'first dibs' on treasures — from around the world — that would otherwise be inaccessible.
