FROM TOKYO AND BEIJING TO NEW YORK AND FRANCE
Hiroyuki Asano has sowed his seeds around the globe, both in public and private collections, from monumental granite sculptures to apartment sized works. As part of Carole Davenport's ICONIC MASTERWORKS ASIA WEEK SHOW illustrating the continuity of the Japanese aesthetic from early times to present, Asano is represented by selected works in granite, marble and limestone. New York is his venue this month. Next month it is Taiwan. The Asia Week New York initiative offers something for everyone and these sublime sculptures can be viewed through Saturday March 19 at Carole Davenport's exhibition.
