Boston, MA - Tony Fusco and Robert Four are pleased to announce The Second Annual Boston Home Décor Show, designed to capture the evolution of the market, and include a broad range of furnishings, fine art and design, offering everything from antiques to the finest in today’s home décor. The 2015 launch of this new concept in art and design shows was greeted with enthusiasm from both the design industry and consumers, and drew good crowds and rave media reviews.
The show and sale will take place November 17-20, 2016 at The Cyclorama at the Boston Center for the Arts, a venue familiar to those who frequent Fusco & Four’s other shows: The Boston International Fine Art Show, now in its 20th year, and AD20/21: Art & Design of the 20th & 21st Centuries, which just completed its 9th year. In addition to these weekend shows, in 2014 Fusco & Four also launched Boston Design Week, a 12-day festival of design, which this year had, more than 80 design events citywide.
The producers are pleased to announce that the Gala Preview on Thursday, November 17 will once again benefit DIFFA: Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS.
Since its founding in 1984, mobilizing the immense resources and creativity of the design community DIFFA has emerged from a grassroots organization into a national foundation based in New York City with chapters and community partners across the country that, working together, have provided more than $41 million to hundreds of HIV/AIDS organizations nationwide. www.diffa.org
“The trend to downsizing, and the appeal of interior design that embraces both old and new, the emergence of younger collectors interested in acquiring works of their own generation … all of this called for a new kind of show,” comments Co-Producer Tony Fusco. “You will find countless ideas to enhance your home, whether your style is contemporary, vintage, or a mix. With special programs throughout the weekend, audiences hear from design experts on how to create a vision for your home, whether you’re restoring, remodeling, or redecorating.”
Weekend show hours are Friday 1:00-8:00pm, Saturday 11:00am-8:00pm and Sunday 11:00am-5:00pm. Weekend tickets are $15, those under 12 years old are free. Tickets include complimentary re-admission, show catalog, and coat check. A café, discount and valet parking are also available to guests.
