Lillian Nassau LLC, world-renowned specialists in the work of Tiffany Studios and Louis Comfort Tiffany for over 70 years, is pleased to announce its participation in the second edition of Spring Masters New York, to be held May 8th - 12th at the Park Avenue Armory in New York City, Park Avenue and 66th Street.  Spring Masters will present a select array of art and design from antiquity through the 21st century in a contemporary context.

On display in Lillian Nassau LLC's stand will be a broad range of museum-quality works by Tiffany Studios and Louis Comfort Tiffany, including a selection of leaded glass lamps, favrile glass and pottery; notable pieces include a pair of early leaded glass windows in the Arts & Crafts style, a stunning Maple Leaf Table Lamp, as well as a hanging Lotus shade which was purchased in the 1960's directly from the showroom of famed Mid-Century Modern designer Edward Wormley.

The gallery will also showcase a selection of Mid-Century Modern and Studio furniture and design including an exceptional garden gate by acclaimed metalsmith Albert Paley. A custom commission dating from 1990, this one-of-a-kind piece, which features forged mild and stainless steel in the motif of a lush rose garden, represents the first of Paley’s rare forays into figural compositions. He expanded on this theme on a monumental scale in later commissions for both the Cleveland Botanical Garden and the St. Louis Zoo.

The gallery will maintain its usual Monday through Saturday schedule for the duration of the show. Visit us at 220 East 57th Street to see our full collection of works by Tiffany Studios as well as fine examples of Mid-Century Modern and Studio furniture and design by George Nakashima, Phil Powell, Wendell Castle and more.
