Barn Star Productions and the Newtown Historical Society have announced an exciting collaboration on the Newtown Antiques Market, a one day, outdoor antiques show June 21 in the historic community of Newtown, Connecticut.

The event will take place at the Fairfield Hills Campus facility in Newtown and will present 100 exhibitors in an informal environment of tents and pop-up canopies presenting a wide spectrum of antiques from early American furniture to fine art, ceramics, jewelry, stoneware, cast iron urns and garden furniture, architectural elements, weathervanes and folk art, sets of chairs, tables, clocks, plus many more categories too numerous to mention.

Newtown is located just minutes off route 84 and accessible from many surrounding communities in the south west corner of Connecticut including Danbury, Southbury, Woodbury and Redding.

Comments show manager Frank Gaglio, “For months, our dealers have been asking for a show in June that is centrally located, cost effective and a one day format where they do not have to commit to multiple days in the summer time. The Newtown Antiques Market seemed to fit all of their criteria plus benefitting the Newtown Historical Society was a great fit - but first and foremost will be the wonderful antiques our exhibitors will be bringing for sale so plan to spend the day”.

The show will also include participation of several community organizations including the Newtown Firemen’s Association, Lions Club and Newtown Historical Society creating a fun and festive day for everyone to enjoy rain or shine.
