The Women Are Stronger: An Installation by Margo Duvall Opening Reception
- PINE BLUFF, Arkansas

- February 07, 2018
Henderson State University Associate Professor of Photography Margo Duvall will present her latest body of work in the Arts & Science Center's Simmons Gallery from February 8 - April 21.
The process of cyanotype dates back to 1842 and was an early form of duplication and used to make blueprints (hence the blue cast of the image). Duvall uses the process to imprint photographic images on a variety of objects including, in this exhibition, fabric.
Duvall earned her bachelor's degree in studio art from Humboldt State University before earning an MFA in photography from San Jose State University. Her photographs have appeared in dozens of exhibitions, including the Arkansas Arts Council's 2017 Small Works on Paper, and the Arkansas Art Center's 59th annual Delta Exhibition.
Join us for a free reception with refreshments and great company as we celebrate Margo Duvall’s
installation of photography on February 8, 2018, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with artist remarks at 5:30 p.m.
The exhibition is sponsored by Simmons Bank
