On the heels of a successful virtual spring show, the Antiques Dealers' Association of America (ADA) announced the long-running ADA/Historic Deerfield Antiques Show will be going online and donating a portion of the proceeds to Historic Deerfield. The ADA is a member-based organization composed of professional dealers dedicated to integrity, honesty, and ethical conduct in the antiques trade. Expect to find more than 1,000 objects representing the best in American (and some European) antiques, fine art, folk art, Americana, Native American, and other decorative arts. Hosted over Columbus Day weekend, the online show opens October 9 at 10 am and continues through October 12 at 10 pm EST on its website at www.ADAdealers.com.

The show that began in Springfield, Mass., in 1984 and moved to Historic Deerfield in 1998, will now fashion its walls and open its doors on the web with more accessibility than ever before, viewable from any computer or mobile device. The online show represents an unprecedented moment for collectors across the country — and scattered throughout the world — to buy at the ADA/Historic Deerfield Antiques Show, long a venue offering the finest New England antiques and objects of Americana.

"The ADA/Historic Deerfield Antiques Show, through thick and thin, has been drawing collectors of all levels to the excitement of great art and antiques since 1998," said Philip Zea, president and CEO, Historic Deerfield. "How great is the show? Not even a plague can keep us down! Turn on your computers over Columbus Day Weekend for another wonderful hunt for the finest in Americana!"

This will be the ninth online show that the ADA has hosted on their proprietary platform. The organization was an innovator in the format, first offering it in 2014 and building upon the online show's navigability and ease of use ever since. The October 2020 show will feature over 50 dealers who will again bring forth exceptional historic material from centuries past, many of them fresh acquisitions set aside expressly for this exciting event.
