Crazy quilt, Mifflin Roman Stripe
Fisher Heritage

…. are antique 'crazy' quilts, so-called because of the orchestration of random shaped pieces of fabric in the hands of a skilled quilt maker that became a cohesive whole with endlessly intriguing visual and tactile allure.

At FISHER HERITAGE, owner Laura Fisher gives you a wide range of choices among vibrant crazy quilts made of the traditional silks and satins that are a hallmark of the Victorian era, and also splendid examples made of the less frequently seen printed cottons and wools. All are embellished with expertly sewn silk or wool threads transformed by deft hands into embroidered flowers, figures, and thousands of fancy stitches.
