Katrina Canady

U.S. Antique Shows, the world’s largest producer of indoor antique shows, announced recently the promotion of Katrina Canady to sales director.

Formerly a sales manager, Canady joined U.S. Antique Shows in June 2008 as an assistant fair director. During her time in that position, she gained valuable experience in both show operations and sales processes, including working one-on-one with dealers to meet their show requests.

“U.S. Antique Shows has a reputation for excellent customer service and, in many ways, Katrina exemplifies that dedication,” said Dan Darby, GLM vice president and U.S. Antique Shows group director. “She has an extraordinary ability to anticipate dealers’ needs and interests, and works to meet those needs while balancing the product mix of the shows. “

By 2009, Canady was leading efforts in securing new dealers who would benefit from exhibiting in the company’s shows. She handled sales and booth renewals for U.S. Antique Shows in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, Miami Beach and the organization’s largest show, The Original Miami Beach Antique Show. She also managed show directory advertising.

As director of sales, Canady’s duties include reviewing and approving applications to exhibit or booth share as well as making booth assignments for five of U.S. Antique Shows’ nine-show portfolio, including The Original Miami Beach Antique Show and Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show. In her new position, she will be the lead on all new dealer transactions, change requests and dealer programs.
