JACKSONVILLE, Fla. –Baterbys Art Gallery of Orlando will present a special live art auction event on Saturday, July 30th, featuring a collection of over 300 works of art by some of the biggest names in the world of fine art. The event will be hosted by ProSource of Jacksonville in their showroom at 5250 Sunbeam Road in Jacksonville and is open to the public. The preview and registration will commence promptly at 5pm Eastern time; the live auction will start at 6pm.

The impressive lineup of artists on display will include iconic masters such as Salvador Dali, Peter Max, Marc Chagall and Pablo Picasso. But the live art auction will also feature the internationally renowned German artist, Alfred (Alex) Gockel. This award winning artist has been shown at the Art Expo NY and has been exhibited all over the world. Amongst his many successes, he designed the official American version of the 2006 Olympic Games Affiche in Italy.

Nearly 100 million editions of Gockel's work have been distributed internationally. Experienced art collectors or event guests looking to start a collection will enjoy the whimsical and bold works of Alfred Gockel. Live educational talks will be given on his array of works, and attendees will have the chance to bid on and take home a beautiful and unique artwork by Gockel himself.

They will also be offered the opportunity to bid and buy at exclusive discounts for up to 70 percent off gallery retail pricing during the auction The preview and registration portion of the event will commence at 5pm.
