The works of artists who joined the gallery in 2013 are being showcased in the gallery’s latest exhibition, Introducing New Artists. The artists’ reception is slated for Friday, February 14, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

The featured artists are Peter Campbell, Terry Gardner, Peggy Judy, Sarah Lamb, Dean Mitchell, Brett Scheifflee, and Angus Wilson.  They represent a variety of experiences, styles, training and come from all over the US.

Durango-based Peter Campbell captures the sublime Colorado landscapes popular with Colorado collectors. Nationally known watercolorist Dean Mitchell is widely collected for his mastery of the medium.  The vanishing landmarks and landscapes of the West, from bristlecones to milk houses, are preserved in Terry Gardner’s paintings. Emerging artist Peggy Judy’s work is timeless and appealing, with a graphic quality. The colorful art of Angus Wilson explores the interior landscapes of our lives, while Brett Scheifflee renders a precisely focused and detailed vision. Sarah Lamb is nationally recognized for her exquisitely detailed still lifes.
