The theme for World Health Day 2022 is Our Planet, Our Health. This call from PAHO, the WHO, and partners, focuses on a green and healthy recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, that puts the health of individuals and the planet at the center of actions and fosters a movement to create societies focused on well-being. 

Selva Ozelli’s digital solo art show "Art in the Time of Corona 7 - Recovery Roses" is part of her series of art shows exploring the links between pollution and the pandemic. In this art show, coronavirus is depicted in the form of roses since the pandemic is on its way to a recovery. The art show includes a portrait of Dr. Ugur Sahin the CEO of BioNTech, which helped develop one of the major vaccines against COVID-19. These paintings have been selected for exhibition at World Health Organization and Create 2030’s Solidarity Shows: COVID-19 Arts Initiative; the CUHK Jockey Museum of Climate Change; COP26; Science Foundation Ireland; 2021 CIMUSET Conference; and 2021 United Nations General Assembly Guide.

Selva Ozelli has been recently admitted as a member of Cllimate Heritage Network is a global network whose members are committed to mobilizing arts, culture and heritage to address climate change and support communities in achieving the ambitions of the Paris Agreement.  The Network seeks to scale up culture-based climate action and to foreground the cultural dimensions of climate policy through coordination and cooperation among its members.
