ABSTRACT ART IS CAPTIVATING
MY IMAGINATION HOWEVER I STILL LOVE
CREATING FIGURATIVE WORKS AND AT TIMES
INTERMIXING FIGURATIVE LINES AND ABSTRACT.
IN THE CASE OF WONDERLAND, A 36 X 48 ABSTRACT
I CREATED A FEW DAYS AGO, IT WAS SOLD
IN LESS THAN ONE HOUR. I AM THANKFUL FOR
ALL MY COLLECTORS, ITS A GREAT FEELING
WHEN INDIVIDUALS HAVE A CONNECTION TO
MY ART THAT MOVES THEM TO ACQUIRE IT.
LOOKING BACK AT MASTERS OF CONTEMPORARY ART
THE LIKES OF JACKSON POLLACK AND FRANZ KLINE,
IT FASCINATES ME HOW IN THE BEGINNING
OF THEIR CAREER, THEY BOTH WERE KNOWN
FOR CREATING FIGURATIVE WORKS AND THEN
ONE DAY, THEIR IMAGINATIONS EXPANDED
INTO ANOTHER REALM, A NEW SENSE OF
ARTISTIC FREEDOM! PICASSO WAS CREATING
TRADITIONAL MASTERPIECES AND THEN
HIS IMAGINATION KNEW NO LIMITATIONS
OR BOUNDARIES, ENTER CUBISM AND BEYOND,
ABSTRACT FIGURATIVE MASTERPIECES!
MANY OF MY FIGURATIVE WORKS HAVE
BACKGROUNDS THAT ARE ABSTRACT ARTWORKS,
UNTO THEMSELVES. ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES
AND TO THE NEW OWNER OF WONDERLAND,
PLEASE ENJOY IT. CANT' WAIT TO SEE AN
IMAGE OF THE ROOM, YOU HANG IT IN - MICHAEL KILGORE
