Atelier Teymur Rzayev's “First Digital Climate Change Art Show” will launch at COP26 on World Tsunami Awareness Day on November 5, 2021. This art show was curated by Selva Ozelli based on her series of articles on digital technology adoption, solar energy and tax policies in the jurisdictions with the greatest carbon emissions. These articles have been published by the World's first Climate Change Museum "The Jockey Club Museum of Climate Change - Hong Kong” in addition to more than 100 other publications around the world.
The inspiration behind the theme of the art show was a culmination of the body of work of like-minded Climate Change Artists at Atelier Teymur Rzayev that corresponded to the issues Selva Ozelli raised/addressed in her Climate Change based article series:
(1) Serife Akkan – “Running to the Oasis”
(2) Askin Akman – “Tree 284”
(3) Rana Balkis – “Climate Change” & “Not Like Before”
(4) Oya Gali – “Hurricane Irma”
(5) Semine Hazar – “Artic Melting” 1 & 2
(6) Fatma Kadir – “Tree Abuse” & “Homeless Doves”
(7) Selva Ozelli – “Tsunami” 1 & 2
(8) Hulya Sahin – “One Leaf - a Thousand Rain Drops” & “Grey Skies - Sad Trees” (9) Ilhan Sayin – “Glamorous Cactus” & “Red Cactus”
(10) Ismail Soysal – “Farmer's Longing”
Atelier artist paintings which are also part of the art show have been acknowledged in international Climate Change and Coronavirus art competitions as follows: Rana Balkis (2) "Not Like Before", Selva Ozelli (14) “Tsunami” were recently selected for United Nation's COVID19 Open Brief; Selva Ozelli "Tsunami" was also shortlisted in international ART IN THE TIME OF CORONA competition held by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations.
