MOUNIA OF YVES SAINT LAURENT 

I created earlier this year inspired by

the iconic MOUNIA OROSEMANE his principle muse,

her presence epitomizes his status as the most

influential designer in fashion history.

I have had the pleasure to speak with MOUNIA

on several occasions and we talked about her

association with YVES, her collaborative chemistry

that excited him TO CREATE, in the genius of his

imagination, he was dressing MOUNIA. 

My interpretation intermixes elements of 

abstract figurations and neoexpressionism

in mixed medias, it was a SPONTANEOUS adventure

from beginning to end, as if MOUNIA was posing for 

yet another cover of PARIS VOGUE, EBONY or ESSENCE.

I look forward to meeting MOUNIA in NEW YORK

when our stars align, it will be a EUPHORIC DAY.
