Community Day: Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead)

November 2, 2013 11 AM–5 PM Admission is free Join SJMA’s contemporary celebration of a tradition that can be traced back more than 2,500 years. Get creative and participate in hands-on art-making activities (including sugar-skull decorating) for all ages. Party with performing skeletons, enjoy live music, and experience colorful dance performances. Learn about the ritual of the ofrenda (altar), which honors the memory of departed relatives and loved ones.
