Evening for Educators: Imaginary Worlds
See the exhibition Real/Surreal: Selections from the Whitney Museum of American Art and discover how American artists of the WWII era explored themes of dreams, identity, mechanization, and memory. Make connections between the quiet settings of Edward Hopper, the fantastical dreamscapes of Man Ray, and the pristine landscapes of Andrew Wyeth. Educators choose two workshops from a variety of disciplines. Space is limited and registration is required.
