Liz Roessler, of Lettering By Liz, is a calligrapher with 25+ years-experience and will teach the fundamentals of the technique of dipping a flexible, steel-nibbed pen into acrylic ink, introducing you to her favorite beginner’s lettering style “Romantic” which is her own creative interpretation of Copperplate mixed with elements of Italic…with a modern twist!

She focuses the instruction on recommendations and suggested goals for personal practice and study following class, dozens of cool ideas for using your calligraphy skills, interactive instruction on the proper way to hold the pen, healthy ergonomics and personalized one-on-one guidance.

All materials are included in registration fee as well as a generous take-home kit with a bevy of the best materials and resources.
