JULIO REYES “VESSELS” - ONE-MAN EXHIBITION
On November 13th, Arcadia Contemporary presents “Vessels,” and exhibition of new paintings and drawing by California-based artist Julio Reyes. In his 2nd, one-man show at the gallery, Reyes explores the themes of solitude and isolation all in his internationally recognized, highly detailed style. Working in graphite, oil and egg tempera, on panel, aluminum and even marble, Reyes once again proves why American Art Collector Magazine named him “One of the 25 Most Important, Living Realists In the U.S.” IMAGE: JULIO REYES “TUNDRA,” GRAPHITE AND CHARCOAL ON PAPER, 24x17 INCHES, 2014.
